REpower Systems AG signed a contract for the delivery of two REpower MM82 wind turbines with its Australian partner Hepburn Wind.
With this Hepburn Wind will own and operate the first community wind farm in Australia.

The REpower turbines with a rated power of 2.05 megawatts each and a hub height of 69 meters will be erected near Daylesford, a city located in the state of Victoria about 100 kilometers north-western of Melbourne.

REpower will take responsibility for the entire planning of the park and the installation of the turbines including all the necessary infrastructure and grid connection construction work. Thereby Hepburn Wind receives a turnkey wind farm – completely operational – out of one hand.
