Solar Turbines Inc. will supply four power plants for oil platform of Arkutun-Dagi - Sakhalin-1 project.The plants will be delivered under the contract signed with Exxon Neftegas Ltd. Modular Titan 130 gas turbine power plants each rated at 15 MW will generate electric and thermal power for the needs of oil extracting platform of ice class.
Titan 130 plant was developed on the base of modern Titan 130 single-shaft gas turbine with electric efficiency of 35.2 %. The primary fuel for the plants operation is casing-head gas, back-up fuel is diesel. The delivery of the equipment will be carried out till the end of 2010. The commissioning of the plants is planned in 2011.
