Power plant was commissioned by ArmRoscogeneration Company in cooperation with Zeppelin Armenia LLC. Electric output of the station is 2 MW, thermal power output – 9.83 MW. general designer of the station is Mosoblgazservis Ltd.
The station was developed on the base of Caterpillar G3520С gas engine plant (electric output of 2 MW) with Frerk waste-heat boiler (thermal output of 2.27 MW). The station is equipped with SR4B electric generator. Control system was delivered by Terberg.
The station was constructed under the Warm to Every House Program. It is realized by EuroSibEnergoEngineering Ltd. It is planned to construct one more similar power plant in future.
After the commissioning of both power plants more than 30 thousand of Yerevan citizens will be provided with electricity and hot water.
