Casing-head gas is used for power generation for the needs of Aryskum and Kyzylkiya oil fields in Kazakhstan.

The project of construction of gas engine power plant rated at 21 MW is under realization on oil field in Kyzylordinskaya Region (Kazakhstan). The main fuel for the station is casing-head gas. The contract was signed with PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources. The station will operate in simple cycle. General designer of the project is Promelectronika-K (subsidiary company of Intma JSC, Moscow), General contractor is Shapagat JSC.
At present two JGS 620 GS-N.L power plants are in operation. It is planned to commission seven more similar plants in the future.
