JMC 420 GS N LC gas engine plant was supplied by Chelyabenergoservis for the operation as a part of cogeneration power plant on the site of Nikmas enterprise. The plant was designed around J420 GS gas engine and Cummins PI734F. Total electric output of the station is 1403 kW. General designer of the project is Chelyabenergoproject Ltd. All generated electric and thermal power will be used for the technological needs of the enterprise.

Siemens has signed long-term service contracts with two customers in the Philippines and France. The Service Division within the Siemens’ Energy Sector will provide full-scope operation and maintenance services for three power plants. The combined value of the contracts over their terms reaches approximately 800 million Euro.

Subsidiaries of the Philippine power plant operator First Gen Corp. have awarded two 15-year service contracts to Siemens’ Energy Service division, which will provide operation and maintenance for natural gas-fired power plants totaling 1,000 megawatts (MW) in Santa Rita and for a plant in San Lorenzo with a capacity of 500 MW. The contracts will replace existing operation and maintenance agreements with Siemens that expired at the end of July.

The French power plant operator Poweo awarded a 19-year service contract to Siemens. Under this agreement, the company will be responsible for operation and maintenance for the 413-MW combined-cycle gas turbine power plant that is being built in Toul by Siemens. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in the first half of 2013.

ETDA-8000 expansion turbines were produced by Kaluga Turbine Works in cooperation with TurboDen Ltd. under the contract with Power Maintenance Company. ETDA-8000 electric output is 8MW. They will be installed on Shakhid Montazery thermal power station in Esfahan (Iran).
Expansion turbines were fully tested by the enterprise. After their commissioning there will be the opportunity to generate additional electric power for technological needs of the station and for regional power grid. The commissioning is planned at the end of 2010.

The station consists of two Turbomach TBM T130S gas turbine power plants each rated at 15 MW. The plants are equipped with AWH-2000-16 waste-heat boilers manufactured by Omnical. Each boiler has thermal power output of 20 MW. Investor and general contractor of the project is Dega Invest GmbH in cooperation with Stroyteh JSC (Russia). General designer is Kelvin Luxe company. The station is synchronized with power grid. It is also equipped with two MTU 2000-16 emergency diesel generating sets.
Natural gas from cross-country pipeline is the primary fuel for the station.

AGL Energy Limited (AGL) in partnership with Meridian Energy plan to build one of the world’s largest wind farms that will be able to generate 420 MW of power, at Macarthur in Victoria, Australia. According to officials, this wind farm is expected to go online by 2013 for a cost of nearly $1 billion.

Due to its 140 3-megawatt wind turbines, the farm will be able to supply clean electricity to over 220,000 average Victorian homes and will also save about 1.7 million tons of greenhouse gases annually.

The station will ensure all demands of the enterprise in electric power, steam and hot water. Total electric output of the station is 7018 kW, thermal output is 12052 kW (waste-heat boilers capacity is 3377 kW).The station consists of three GE Energy Jenbacher gas engines JMS 312 GS power plants each rated at 625 kW, thermal output of 729 kW and one JMS 320 GS-N.LC rated at 1063 kW and thermal output of 1190 kW. The station is equipped with three FG Wilson P1700 diesel generating sets.General designer and contractor of the project is Progress Ltd.

The project was realized on turn-key basis by NG-Energo JSC. Under the contract it constructed diesel power station with total output of 4 MW. The main task of the station is to ensure reliable and uninterruptible power supply of Mail.ru data processing center.
The station consists of four Energo-D1000/0.4КN20 power plants. Each of the plant was developed on the base of Cummins С1400D5 diesel generating set. The plants are equipped with remote control and monitoring system.
Fuel storage provided the operation of the station during three days without refueling.
