Vestas receives order for 99 MW in India.

Vestas has received an order for 60 units of the V82-1.65 MW wind turbine for a wind power project located in Theni in the state of Tamil Nadu, South India.
The order has been placed by CLP, who is one of Vestas’ long-term global customers, with installations in both China and Australia. In India, CLP currently owns and operates 100 MW of wind power and has around 245 MW under construction in the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. In addition, the company is operating a wholly owned gas-fired combined cycle power station with a capacity of 655 MW and is building a 1,320 MW domestic coal-fired power project at Jhajjar in Haryana, India.
The contract comprises supply and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system as well as a 10-year service and maintenance agreement.
Ipp having 655 MW capacity combined cycle power plant located at Bharuch, gujarat, India. This is wholly owned subsidiary of clp power, Asia. Main equipments-v94. 2 gas turbine, Siemens staem turbine 254. 5 MW. We procure spares and services for maintianing our gas turbines & steam turbine. The annual procurement is in the range of 5-6 million US $.
