Saturn-Gas Turbines JSC and UMPO JSC developed and manufactured pilot GPA-16 Arlan gas pumping unit rated at 16 MW under the long-term cooperation with Gazprom JSC. It was developed on the base of AL-31ST gas turbine engine. The unit assembling was finished in December 2010. Commissioning and full-scale tests of the equipment were carried out in January 2011. At present pilot operation of the unit during 1500 hours was started. GPA-16 Arlan will be used for modernization and construction of new compressor stations.
