The station with electric output of 12 MW and thermal output of 12.7 MW will consist of six AoE 20V4000L62 power plants. The plants each rated at 2 MW will be supplied by MTU Onsite Energy GmbH. The station will operate on casing-head gas. It will generate electric and thermal power for the needs of Katangli and Uyglekuty oil fields. The fields are developed by Sakhalinmorneftegas Ltd. General designer for the project is SakhalinNIPImorneft Ltd. The commissioning of the station is planned at the end of this year.
