Kaluga Turbine Plant has commissioned steam turbine plant at Mogilev TPP-2 in Belarus.

Heating turbine R-18/24-2,1/0,15 with back pressure was tested and put into operation at the TPP-2 in Mogilev. The turbine is designed to drive a generator with a nominal electrical capacity of 20.2 MW. The new steam turbine plant is installed on the partially reconstructed foundation of the T-50/60-130 turbine in the engine room of the main building. During the reconstruction of the power plant auxiliary equipment and pipelines were replaced. The steam turbine is a single-cylinder unit and will use steam from the station collectors. The turbine is equipped with a regenerative condensate heating system and a boiler unit providing thermal power up to 115 Gcal/h.
