Rolls-Royce presented its sliding bearings for internal combustion engines.

The new feature is said to reduce fuel consumption by 1 %.The fuel saving is achieved by reducing friction between the bearing and crankshaft. This is achieved by furbishing the surface of the bearings with grooves which channel lubricant to create an anti-friction surface.

CHP power plant with a capacity of 4 MW has been commissioned at the gas chemical complex in Ust-Luga.

Techexpo company has manufactured container diesel power plants for back-up power for the Baltic Gas Chemical Complex in Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region. Two TE.1800C-T10500-2RN (BAES) diesel power plants each rated at 2 MW are based on Mitsubishi S16R2 series engines and TH528G (EvoTec) electric generators with a voltage of 10.5 kV, with current and voltage transformers. The customer is Seven China National Chemical Engineering and Construction Corporation.

Energaz Group of companies equips the power station at the HAYAT plant with modern gas treatment equipment.

HAYAT Russia is increasing its production capacity: a large plant for the production of paper products is being built on the Borovskaya site of the Kaluga special economic zone. An autonomous power station is being created here to supply production with its own energy resources. The generation of electricity and process steam will be provided by the Solar Mars 100 gas turbine plant and heat recovery boiler. One of the important factors contributing to the reliable and efficient operation of generating equipment is the quality of fuel gas.

GE announced the successful completion of Thessaloniki power plant modernization in Greece.

GE upgraded Elpedison’s power generation assets, consisting of a GE 9F.03 gas turbine and a Franco Tosi-supplied steam turbine, and installed digital solutions to help to increase the plant’s output by over 20 MW.

EnergoTechService LLC has commissioned new equipment for the gas engine power station at the Severo-Mukerkamylkskoye field.

Gas engine power station provides electric power to the technological equipment and infrastructure of the field. EnergoTechService ETS-W1375 power plants of serial production are based on INNIO Waukesha VHP7044GSI engines each rated at 1100 kW. Gas engine power plants are leased to Gorny oil and gas company, the operation is carried out by EnergoTechService specialists.

MOTORTECH presents new MCM compressor monitoring system.

MOTORTECH presents a compressor monitoring device, known as the MOTORTECH Compressor Monitor (MCM). It is a PLC-based monitoring system for gas-driven reciprocating compressor packages. It features a 254 mm touch-screen display, four interfaces – RS232, RS485, two USB and one Ethernet, and four configurable 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V outputs for any control task.

World’s largest hydrogen fuel cell power plant Jointly was put into service in South Korea.

Western Incheon fuel cell power plant is composed of 5 phases with a total capacity of 76.88MW which is the second largest following the ShinincheonBitdream fuel cell power plant. Doosan Fuel Cell has been involved from the 2nd to 5th phase, offering a total 65.68 MW. The plant can power approximately 240,000 households.
