After commissioning the total output of the station was increased up to 900 MW, thermal output – up to 791 MW. The combined cycle power unit was built on the base of PGU-450 plant. It was designed around two GTE-160 gas turbine plants, heat-recovery steam generators, steam turbine and electric generators manufactured and delivered by Power Machines JSC (Saint-Petersburg). All generated power is supplied to Yantarenergo power grid.
